The Workforce Development Board’s Integrated Local Market Plan 2011 Update will deliver two research projects and four local initiatives.  In the spring of 2011, two research projects were completed: first, Creative Class in the WDB Region and second, Growth Sector Workforce Supply in the Peterborough Region.  Projects in process now are the Development a HR Reference Manual for SME, Evaluating Support Network for Laid-off Workers, and Developing an E-learning Strategy with New Broadband Installation.  This fall WDB will hold several Grade 10 Careers Seminars at Trent University and Fleming College.  For more information, please visit the new WDB portal, www.wdb.ca.
