Empire Cheese Co-op ”Northumberland's only Cheese Producing" plant is open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 8 am to 5 pm. Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. All ages of cheddar available from extra - mild to 7 yr. old; specialty cheeses including caramelized onion cheddar and cheddar with hot whiskey mustard; and fresh curd 5-6 days per week. Local products including gourmet sauces, jellies, maple syrup and honey. Ice cream available May through October. Selection of gift baskets & boxes.
