Oakville Army Cadets is a free program for young men/women between the ages of 12 and not yet 19 years old, that emphasizes the development of leadership skills, participation in local community service, greater fitness levels. Army Cadets provides the opportunity for Oakville youth participation in challenging and exciting activities. Army Cadets is the oldest and one of the largest youth programs in Canada, with a focus on outdoor adventure activities. Army Cadets will generate High School community hours and is a great way for young people to make new friends. We are based out of the Oakville Armoury. We parade on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm, from September to the end of June. Uniforms provided at no cost and there are summer camp opportunities.
