Carol Speed-Zeyen, MSW, RSW is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Toronto (1994) and has an Advanced Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She has also been trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques and Supportive Psychotherapy. Her professional mental health counselling career includes work at: the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (Clarke site), St. Michael’s Hospital, York Central Hospital, and Southlake Regional Health Centre. She has also provided mental health focused psycho-educational lectures to University of Toronto medical students and provides consultation to Registered Nurses, General Practitioners and Medical Residents.
