The Winding River Art Gallery is a co-operative gallery located inside Mastodon Ridge, halfway between the equator and the North Pole. We are dedicated to the recognition, promotion and celebration of our gallery artists as well as those outside the gallery by offering contests and art displays throughout the year. Our gallery gives the community of Stewiacke and area access to professional artists and fosters the development of community involvement in the arts. The gallery at Mastodon Ridge in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia is situated in the former 'Ridge' gift shop and is the focus of a team of dedicated artists who are joined by the co-operative spirit. Many hours of planning and painting show the culmination of a wonderful collection of art in several mediums.
