Quadro Communications Co-operative was established in November 1994, after converting from the Blanshard Municipal Telephone System. Originally our service area was limited to the communities of Sebringville, Granton, Kirkton and Uniondale. Recently the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has approved our expansion into the communities of Mitchell, Lucan, Dublin and St. Columban. Quadro is one of several independent communications companies in Southwestern Ontario. Quadro is a Co-operative and as such, we offer each customer a member share - one member, one vote. Power is shared equally among all members, rather than concentrated in the hands of a few. Co-operatives are based on democratic principles; members elect a Board of Directors.
