The children come from the Peterborough, Lindsay, Courtice, Bowmanville, Newcastle, Port Hope, Cobourg and Trent Hills areas. The camp also provides a leadership experience for secondary school students from the same areas as volunteer counsellors. Roughly 40 campers and 12-16 counsellors take part in each session with the core staff of 8. Activities include - swimming, canoeing, games, arts & crafts, campfires, cookouts, overnight camp out, scavenger hunt, field day, skits and so on. Names of campers are referred from Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Social Family Services, Separate and Public Elementary Schools.
