Upscale, contemporary, and oozing creativity, META4 Contemporary Craft Gallery is Durham’s destination for fine craft and art. This cultural and artistic hub thrives in the heart of beautiful Port Perry and is owned by three local artists, Jennifer Hardie, Birgitta MacLeod and Bonnie Thomson.After our first six months in a shared retail space, META4 Gallery outgrew its humble beginnings, so we moved a few doors west to 200 Queen Street. The newer location is bigger, brighter, and features a studio space where we bring in talented instructors from all over Ontario to teach workshops and courses for adults and youth. That was in 2006. META4 now features the work of over 100 Ontario artists and artisans.
