Since 1949, Haldimand's best gardens have begun here. Known from St. Thomas to Mississauga for our top quality, reasonably priced hanging baskets.We also are known locally for the quality of our poinsettia's. Our staff have over 75 years experience serving Haldimand gardeners as well as growing our own gardens in many of the diverse soils of Haldimand from sand, sandy loam, black loam to Haldimand blue clay. Someone on staff has probably faced the same difficulties as you and can offer advice. For the fall we offer pumpkins, gourds and Garden Mums. Bob and Lori are the third generation of Alton's to operate the farm. April to October: Monday to Friday- 9 am to 8 pm, Saturday- 9 am to 5 pm, Sunday- 11am to 4 pm, Nov.-Dec. -Everyday 10am to 7pm.
