Dedicated to preservation of farming heritage, community life & lore. Provincial charter granted in 1968. Annual Steam & Heritage Agricultural show held on August civic holiday weekend. Authentic gas era village erected annually including 20 stores & shops, city hall, church, etc. Grounds activities include steam log sawing & threshing demonstrations; antique tractor pulls, draft horse pulls, antique flea market, children activities, stationary gas engine display, indoor crafts, daily grandstand parades, pre 1960 cars, tractors & trucks, continuous grandstand amateur musical programs & jam sessions.
