Dunkerron Quaker Cemetery

About 92 inscriptions on stones for interments in this small burying ground on the side of a hill are all that remain of a Community of Quakers that had its roots in the early Yonge Street Meeting at Newmarket and spread into West Gwillimbury and Tecumseth Townships of Simcoe County, Ontario. The last burial recorded on an existing stone was in 1944. Located on the north side of the Third Line in Tecumseth Township, just west of Highway 27.
