The Sexual Assault & Violence Intervention Services of Halton (SAVIS) provides free, confidential and non-judgmental 24-hour support to all survivors of sexual violence. Have you experienced abuse? SAVIS offers: • One-to-one counselling for female survivors of violence and sexual abuse • One-to-one counselling for male survivors of childhood sexual abuse • Information on the legal system, community resources and strategies for coping • Information and support for partners, families and friends of survivors • Two weekly drop-in groups (Oakville and Burlington locations) for women who have experienced violence or sexual abuse • A 24-hour crisis line All calls are confidential. Your privacy is important to us. We do not keep documentation about visits or trace crisis line calls.
