Established in 1896, Muskoka Insurance originally was called “Slater and Rogers Insurance”. Over the years the company changed hands with new owners becoming “Slater Brackley & Co. Ltd.”, and then “Brackley Insurance”.Mr. William Frankish purchased the business in the ’80’s and changed the name to “Muskoka Insurance Brokers Ltd.” and has grown the business to be Muskoka’s largest insurance provider in Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Port Carling.In June of 2014 Bill Frankish decided to retire and sold Muskoka Insurance Brokers to a partnership of brokers from Moller Insurance Brokers and Parry Sound Insurance Brokers. This purchase guaranteed that Muskoka Insurance would remain true to the Independent Broker channel and to service of clients in the Muskoka Region.
