A self-employed artist for 18 years, Peter Adams has developed a distinctive style and a loyal following. He is currently developing a new series called The Red River Shore. In the coming months, Adams will also be expanding upon his Earth Scars Series that focuses on some of the largest open-pit mines in the world. Recipient of 2 Ontario Arts Council Project Grants, the Reed T. Cooper Bursary and the Mayor's Annual Purchase Award at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, Adams has been painting in the Creemore, Mulmur and Collingwood area for 16 years. His Creemore studio is open by chance or appointment.
