SKYMETRO began acquiring skills in the art/science of aerial photography in March of 1986. Since then, our goal has been to become the regions premier aerial photography firm. In 1996 considerable progress towards that end was made as we upgraded our 35mm SLRs to medium and large format cameras, and now Digital. We use helicopters (rotor wing) or fixed wing aircrafts. The inherent vibration (and thus loss of sharpness) these aircraft transmit to the camera was eliminated with the design and fabrication of special bolt on gear. PRO bodies, has allowed SkyMetro to generate what we believe are some of the finest Maritime aerial images in today's market. Our digital capabilities now give us the quality required, and produce high quality digital files from our large image library.
