Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington provides comprehensive preventive programs, training and support that responds to the needs of children and youth, in the local community.

As a volunteer you can help in many ways, such as one to one match, volunteer to be a Big Brother or Big Sister to a young boy or girl who needs a positive role model; volunteer to support our group programming which offers special activities to a group of children ,weekly for girls, bi-weekly for boys; volunteer as an In-School Mentor for a child in an elementary school setting during school hours; Go-Girls! a seven week after school program for girls 12-14, led by young volunteer female mentors; couples for kids, a couple is matched with a little brother; join our Board; volunteer to help on one of our committes; or volunteer to help in the office with our caseworker  or offer assistance from your home.

We offer regular volunteer orientation and training.Our volunteers have compassion, enthusiasm, commitment and time.  As a volunteer you enchance your own personal development and make a difference in your community.
