Dr. Sterner is a native to San Diego since 1963; he graduated from Point Loma High School, received his undergraduate degree from Harvard and trained at UCLA Medical School and UCSD Medical in surgery. Dr. Sterner began his Medical practice in 1983 doing house calls in San Diego specializing in Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation and Optimal Wellness through Weight Management. Dr. Sterner soon opened an office in Old Town and in 1997 was the first physician in San Diego to offer Medical Marijuana Evaluations. In early 2000 he learned how to inject Botox for reduction of fine lines in the forehead, frown and crow’s feet and Anti-Aging medicine evolved into his Alternative Health Clinic.
