The Newmarket Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Information Office is located in one of Newmarket's many heritage buildings, the former Grand Trunk/CN railway station (c.1899). The Chamber itself was founded in 1857 and its tourist office offers travel magazines, newspapers, literature, maps and brochures from York Region and across the province.
