fifteen acres are cultivated for veggies, fingerling potatoes, beets, carrots, garlic, leeks, onions, cabbage, kale, swiss chard, corn, squash, and pumpkins. While not yet certified organic, they practice the organic techniques of crop rotation, cover cropping, green manure and soil health, because the nutrition of the food is all based on soil health and uptake of necessary minerals from the soil. They hybridize and collect seeds specializing in daylilies and hostas to grow hardy beautiful flowers
